Mary Jo Smith is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) for Harold F. Leeper, M.D., Ph.D., Inc. She graduated from the B.M. Spurr School of Practical Nursing, Glen Dale, WV in 1970. She received her COA in 1996.

Mrs. Smith has worked in the field of ophthalmology for the past nineteen years. Prior to joining Dr.Leeper's private practice in May 2002, Mary Jo worked in several areas of ophthalmology including general ophthalmology, cataract and glaucoma.
